Doing this reminded me something that happened when I was in college.
In the university I went at the time, it was mandatory to take one semester of law and my teacher was a very flashy and icky lawyer that loved to brag about his high profile clients.
One of his first “tests” for us “that didn’t had a clue about law” was to make a list of the fundamental rights we could remember and in my list I put freedom of speech.
After that, he made fun of me and told everyone in class that, there are more fundamental rights than that one.
I don’t remember well what happened after, if we debated about it or not… and I might be imagining reading in some paper about him going to jail for being related to illegal drug trading, probably.
What I do remember well, is that freedom of speech is a fundamental right even if he thought it was a stupid right and I thought he was a moron.
